How deep the Father's Love!

How deep the Father's love for us
How vast beyond all measure
That He should give His only Son
And make a wretch His treasure
How great the pain of searing loss
The Father turns His face away
As wounds which mar the Chosen One
Bring many sons to glory

Behold the man upon the cross
My sin upon His shoulders
Ashamed, I hear my mocking voice
Call out among the scoffers
It was my sin that held Him there
Until it was accomplished
His dying breath has brought me life
I know that it is finished

I will not boast in anything
No gifts, no power, no wisdom
But I will boast in Jesus Christ
His death and resurrection
Why should I gain from His reward
I cannot give an answer
But this I know with all my heart
His wounds have paid my ransom

Why should I gain from His reward
I cannot give an answer
But this I know with all my heart
His wounds have paid my ransom

Y'all take a minute and think... How deep IS our Father's love for us! It's deeper than the deepest oceans, wider than the widest canyons, longer than you could ever comprehend, and higher than and plane or spaceship could take you! It blows minds, knocks off socks, and never ceases to amaze! This love rights wrongs, forgives sin, and makes you a child of the Most High God!! This love can wrap you in the arms of Christ, it can give you strength, and comfort you in hard times. And when you think you can see the end of it off in the distance you do a take-back and realize no it continues on out of sight! That's the love that MY SAVIOR shows me even when I can hear my voice shouting against Him. Even when I see my past in the rear view mirror telling me I can't be forgiven. My Jesus wraps me in His arms, holds me close, and whispers in my ear that I am loved and forgiven.

Resting in His arms,
Grace
