What is there to worry about?

There is SOOO much to worry about right now!
1. School
2. Panama
3. Medication
4. Packing
5. Having everything
6. General stress
7. I don't know anyone that will be on my trip
8. Flying to a different country without my mom there!!
9. What if I don't like my team
THE LIST GOES ON AND ON AND ON!!!!

But you know what? I'm not really that stressed out.
Usually I'd be running in circles and bouncing off walls from panic, worry, and stress. But I'm not.

Weird? YES! But I know why...
It's because I have peace. Why am I doing this in the first place? For JESUS!! Others need to be able to see how He has changed my life. And one of the MANY MANY MANY ways that He has changed me (more recently actually) is worry! Last year I went to Moldova for 10 days. AMAZING TRIP! But I stressed out soooo bad. While there I read the following passage in my devo...

Matthew 6:25-34
Don't Worry
25 "So I tell you, don't worry about the food or drink you need to live, or about the clothes you need for your body. Life is more than food, and the body is more than clothes. 26 Look at the birds in the air. They don't plant or harvest or store food in barns, but your heavenly Father feeds them. And you know that you are worth much more than the birds. 27 You cannot add any time to your life by worrying about it.
28 "And why do you worry about clothes? Look at how the lilies in the field grow. They don't work or make clothes for themselves. 29 But I tell you that even Solomon with his riches was not dressed as beautifully as one of these flowers.30 God clothes the grass in the field, which is alive today but tomorrow is thrown into the fire. So you can be even more sure that God will clothe you. Don't have so little faith!31 Don't worry and say, 'What will we eat?' or 'What will we drink?' or 'What will we wear?'32 The people who don't know God keep trying to get these things, and your Father in heaven knows you need them. 33 Seek first God's kingdom and what God wants. Then all your other needs will be met as well. 34 So don't worry about tomorrow, because tomorrow will have its own worries. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

Christ says not to worry. Not about what to eat or who I'll be with or what will happen. NOTHING! Because God will provide. I gave my life away. Grace is dead. Grace died on the cross. Grace is as far away from here as the east is from the west. Grace will never be seen again. CHRIST lives here now. This body isn't Grace's... It's Jesus'. I am going not for Grace but for Jesus. (Check out Galatians 2:20)

So do any of things really matter? If God promises to take care of me and He loves me SO much do I really need to stress out? Do I really need to worry? Do I need to panic about my toothpaste being airplane acceptable? NO! Because I am not here anymore. Nothing is about ME. It is about the one who lives in me. The one who loves, forgives, saves, and cares for me!

So why worry?
Dead on the cross,
Grace
